What are the ways in which our body can cause evil (micca kaya kamma )?

When you take the first of the five precepts you undertake to abstain from destroying life
(Panatipata veramani sikkhapadam samadiyami )
When you take the second of the five precepts you undertake to abstain from taking what is not given ( Adinnadana veramani sikkhapadam samadiyami )
The third and fifth of the five precepts deals with wrong conduct in regard to sense pleasure: abstaining from wrong conduct in sexual desires and abstaining from intoxicants ( Kamesu micchacara veramani sikkhapadam samadiyami, Sura-meraya-majja-pamadattana veramani sikkhapadam samadiyami ).

Refraining from bad bodily action is called the RIGHT ACTION
( samma kammanta ).

What are the ways in which our mental actions be evil (micca mano kamma )?

According to the Dhamma there are three ways in which one's mental actions can be evil:
covetousness,
ill will and
wrong views.

Covetousness (greed) and ill will are two of the three parts described as wrong intentions; the
other being harmfulness.

The RIGHT INTENTIONS ( samma sankappa ) are:
Intentions of renunciation as opposed to intentions governed by covetousness,
Intentions of good will as opposed to intentions of ill will, and
Intentions of harmlessness as opposed to intentions of harmfulness.
