The above four components of RIGHT VIEW are called the

                                                            "FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS"
                                                                    ( chatur-ariya-sattya ).

In summary the four noble truths are:
                                                        Suffering ( Dukkha )
                                                            Cause of suffering--desire ( Samudaya )
                                                                Cessation of suffering ( Nirodha )
                The way to realize Nirodha--the Middle Path ( Magga )

The giving up of all evil;
The cultivation of the good;
The cleansing of one's mind;
This is the Buddha'a teaching.
