New property for GLBV we are pleased to announce that we have moved to a new property that will suit all of our needs for many years to come. The temple is now located on 21491 Beech Rd., less than 1/2 mile from the previous Temple location, on Beech Road, just north of Shiawassee on the west side. It is a large ranch house, over 4300 square feet, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a Living room, Family room, Kitchen and seperate Dining room, Library, and fully finished walk-out basement, plus a 2 car garage. It sits on 2.29 beautifully wooded acres, and also includes a picturesque section of the Rouge river on the property. Whether you have already donated, pledged to donate, or have not yet made a donation towards our new Temple, we are encouraging all of you to give your support time in our expansion process. Your generosity at this time will be received by our deepest gratitude and will be rewarded by a wonderful new Vihara that will serve our community for many years in the future. You can donate one time contribution to the Vihara Development Fund or participate in the monthly contribution program ( Please send 12 checks post dated for 5th day of each month) towards the daily up keep of the temple. Please make all checks payable to Great lakes Buddhist Vihara.
